Melisa Militello has been a lawyer for over 14 years.
Currently she handles all types of family law matters, including
divorce, child support and child custody.
Mrs. Mililtello is a former assistant state attorney for the fifth
judicial circuit. During her years at the State Attorney's Office she
prosecuted offenders in Citrus and Sumter and Marion Counties.
After leaving the State Attorneys Office in 1998, she served as the
advising attorney for the Marion County Foster Care Review,
dealing with legal issues involving children who were court
ordered into foster care.
In October 2001, she along with her husband, Paul Militello,
formed the law firm of Militello & Militello, P.A.
She attended the University of Florida, where she received her
Bachelors Degree in Criminology and Law in 1992. She was a
member of the Criminology and Law Honor Society.
Mrs. Militello received her Law Degree from University of Florida
in 1995. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in December 1995.
She is a member of the Florida Bar, The Family Law Section of
the Florida Bar, the Citrus County Bar.
